1. SCARF Media Awards 2025: I won the third prize for reporting on mental health of women pushed to spaces shared  by elephants when their husbands migrate to work. The piece was published for Behanbox. 

2. Red Ink Awards 2022:I won for investigating a neurocysticercosis outbreak among tea garden workers. The disease, entirely preventable with basic health and sanitation, led to sudden job losses and preventable deaths. The piece was published for Down to Earth.

3. Laadli Media Regional Awards 2022: I won for reporting on how climate change and a sledgehammer two-child policy converge to disadvantage Bengali Muslim women in Assam's chars, where displacement pushes them into desolate remote areas. The story was reported for Climate Tracker. 

1. Shashank Srinivasan-PARI fellowship: Currently, I am collaborating with the People's Archive of Rural India—India's leading platform for rural journalism—to produce four stories exploring human lives at the intersection of forests and wildlife under the reins of the fellowship. 

2. MSF-DNDi (Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative) Grant on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs): Reporting on neglected tropical diseases under this grant, diseases which affect poor and marginalized lives fatally but conspicuously misreported and misjudged by the broader health infrastructure.

3. Journalism Connect-Rewiring Trust in Media [Indo German Fellowship]: Collaborated with German peers in journalism facilitated by the Goethe institute and Deutsche Welle on producing a handbook that discusses challenges facing the media industries in India and Germany—amid the tech boom, technology-fueled misinformation, and related threats—and proposes solutions to promote media ethics, boost journalist visibility, and ensure business sustainability.
